Ember's September Playdate

At the end of September, Ember and Mommy hosted a playdate at the park. Ember sat around watching the other babies play until her old friend Madeline showed up. She was sooo excited to have someone around to check out the grass with.

Towards the end, there were only three left, and they had lots of fun passing toys around. L to R: Zachary, Ember, and Madeline. Can't wait till next playdate!

Grandma Diane's Visit

Grandma Diane came to visit for Labor Day weekend. While she was here we went to the park for a picnic.


Mommy and Ember had fun exploring the grass and leaves.








Ember is getting her own style of how she wants to be fed with different people. (I think she was just showing off for Grandma.)

Ember is very well-educated. She ingests knowledge daily.

Happy Bday Katie - 6 month Ember

Happy birth day Katie (Embers cousin). Today 8/24/07 is also Embers 6 month bday. We could not make it down for her birthday but she did have fun with her invite.

Attack of the Aunt Jenna

Jenna came up in the NW for a friends wedding. So Ember lucked out and gets to see her for a few days.

Ember was very excited to see her Aunt.
Nothing going on behind the camera here.


The excitement led to a little rough housing.


I think Ember is winning this round, She fights dirty. Look at that hair pulling and kicking.

And Aunt Jenna getting some practice calming Ember. She did NOT want to fall asleep and was fighting it. Jenna has officially conquered the Ember.

Embers last play date. Babys were far more interested in playing with their toys then each other.


And while Jenna was here Embers second tooth finally pushed it's way through. If you click on the picture you can just see the second tooth on the bottom.

Ember's first taste of pears, she decided they weren't her thing for now.
